Merry Christmas!!

We had my family Christmas together on Sunday which was lovely. Came home with more than we went with (you know how it is) but Eloise is totally stoked with her guitar and keyboard she received from Nan & Pa. Though I am not so sure I am in love with them atm

Eloise is so funny - a guitar ( a red guitar that is) is the only thing that she has mentioned that she has really, really, REALLY wanted and she was so excited when she opened her pressie to find a RED guitar. Opened the keyboard pressie and says "Oh No I don't need one of these" - My sentiments exactly!! (LOL!)

The shops are just nuts atm. The weekend before last I headed down town and spent an hour driving around looking for somewhere to park Cannot believe that these shopping centres keep expanding and building on car park spaces and don't replace them; but I am so relieved that the shopping is now all done. All the wrapping is done, last plum pudding was made yesterday (I am the chief plum pudding maker in the family as well as the 'best' friend who makes them for everyone else) Don't really know how this honour was bestowed upon me but nevertheless the list seems to grow each year The trailer is packed ready for our trip to Swan Hill. Just need to pack our clothes bags and then we are Off. Hopefully be on the road mid morning

MERRY,MERRY Christmas everyone. Hope you all have a wonderful time celebrating and the jolly man in the red suit brings you something nice

Some Photos to Share

Capturing 'moments' with my two gorgeous girls. I cannot believe how quickly they are growing up. Eloise celebrated her fourth birthday in September and is off to 4 year old preschool next year. Nikayla is now 18 months old and is well and truly off and running after her 'big' sister

O' Christmas Tree, O' Christmas Tree

I have finally got into the festive spirit and have created a little Christmas Tree using the Making Memories FaLaLa Collection. I created this one as a give away for one of the Scrapbook Shelf forum competitions held recently

Congratulations Kirsty - hope you like it!

Love Lives Here

I had the absolute pleasure of meeting Carole Janson and participating in one of her classes earlier this year at a retreat. She is just the loveliest person. Thank You Carole; I had so much fun doing your class and have finally got around to finishing my creation. I have mounted it to the front of a Fancy Pants 12 x 12 'Storybook' which I plan on filling in with more pictures of my gorgeuos girls

Just love how Pink Paislee 'Spring Fling' coordinates with my favourite flowers - Prima. These ones are some of the new Prima Painterly Petals

I'm back!!

HELLO friends and fellow bloggers.

I am now officially back..... on blog line that is. This is where you will now find me, my blog in a previous time 'All Things Scrap & Beautiful' is scrapped (LOL!!)

I cannot believe that it is Christmas in just 3 sleeps - the children in the house are getting very excited. The Santa Lists are done and sent - just hope jolly Santa can find us on Christmas Day as we will be in Swan Hill with hubby's family. We head off Christmas Eve. Quite a journey for us about 4.5 hours in all.

Typically I am as unorganised as ever (eyes rolling) Each year I tell myself that next year will be different but nevertheless it always ends up the being same. I have just been so busy and of course I have NOT had Murphy not on my side of late either. But hey we are getting there. Had the week from hell last week. Started the week with the automatic transmission failing and needing attention with my car, hubby was involved in an accident - he is O.K but obviously distressed about the whole thing. So there was the fall out from that, work and insurances related . Then we had a phone call telling us one of hubby's cousins was involved in a motor vehicle accident where the driver of the other car died. Everyone is just totally devasted, understandably so.

So far, this week, the phone hasn't rang with any bad news so we are off to a good start.

I haven't had much opportunity for scrapping of late. I am really missing just creating and playing with my scrap stash. Hopefully, with some changes next year will see me creating again. I have some earlier layouts and a couple of OTP projects which I will share with you soon
