Time Flies

.. and doesn't it!!

I cannot believe that another Friday has rolled around already - tell me is it just my weeks which seem to be flying by so quickly. So a brand new Friday means a brand new Palette to get the creative juices flowing. Palette 12 has just been showcased over at The Color Room.

Now I have to confess that I found this one rather 'challenging' and there were several attempts before coming up with the finished version. There was quite a bit of tooing and froing, procrastination, paper and product shuffling LOL!! But I love a challenge and I am quite happy with how it all turned out

The papers are Crate Paper Prudence with a couple of Prudence glitter die cuts, Webster's and 7 Gypies. The clock stamps are by Heidi Swapp and the flourish ones on the photo corners are Prima. Chippie Butterflies are available from Scrapping Outback, bling is Kaisercraft

This week we are in the 'Family Room' - Nice!!

So head on over here and check out what the other fantastic Design Team members came up with to inspire you with

The Color Room: Palette 11

Happy Friday everyone!!

Hope it is warmer in your part of the world than it is in ours just at the moment. Really, really cold here but then you get that when it is winter I suppose (LOL)

O.K....I am just a little bit excited - O.K super excited to say that I will be a "Revolving Door Artist" over at The Color Room. So for the next 4 palettes I will playing along with the seriously amazing Design Team. These ladies are just so damn inspiring - not to mention hugely talented. I still can't believe it and actually gasped when the invitation came through from Janine. I seriously LOVE this place and have been playing along for the most part, since TCR opened it's very welcoming door 11 weeks ago

So this week we are in the gorgeous 'Sun Room' and aren't the colours fabulous for Palette 11 - so sunny and bright

and this is my take on the palette

Missy N loves nothing more than spending time outdoors. Actually her most favourite outdoor activity is plucking my flowers LOL

This palette provided another opportunity for some serious stash raiding. This time some Webster's, Sassafrass, K & CO, Kaisercraft and MM 'flutter'.

You'd better head on over to the 'Sun Room' and check out what the Design Team came up with - I tell you prepared to be amazed and inspired

The Sweetest Thing

Over at The Colour Room this week, we are back in 'his room,'and I have managed to make the palette work for a girly page - well I think I have (LOL!!)

I have done some stash raiding and combined October Afternoon, Jenni Bowlin, Cosmo Cricket patterned papers with Bazzill, DCWV and Coordinations cardstock, Scrapware chippie Do-Hickey Flourish 1 (available from Scrapping Outback), MME birdie die cut, and a couple of blooms - Prima, Bella and Green Tara, to come up with this

This picture of Miss E takes me back a bit to when she was 2.8 years of age. She had not long become a big sister and was so excited about it all. To me she truly is the 'sweetest thing'

Hope everyone is managing to stay warm - quite 'artic' here atm and have the fire well and truly cranked up.

Thanks so much for dropping by

I'll be back soon with some more show and tell

Hugs

I love you infinity

This is my take on Palette 9 over at The Color Room. We are back in 'her room' this week and I absolutely adore these colours together - just so scrummy!!

I have combined some Lily Bee, Pink Paislee, Bazzill, Doodlebug, Cloud 9 and some fabulous chippie from Maxines Melange (Exclusive laser cut Bird Cage 3) and Remember When.

The photo is of my littlest girl when she was only 7 months old. She is now just turned 3. I just adore the way that Daddy is looking at Miss N, totally besotted I think, and Miss N is just as captivated by her Daddy

Paper Roses

Firstly, thank you ever so much for all of your lovely comments about my hand made roses. Some of you may be familiar with the creative process when making the paper rose variety, but it seems that many of you aren't given the number of emails I have received 'begging' to know. So today I have put together a little tutorial sharing the process I use for making mine - if you pop over to the Scrapping Outback forum you can check it out and maybe have a go at making some for yourselves

Enjoy!!
