Scrapping Outback Reveal: November White With a Twist Challenge 'Daddy's Girl'

This is my take on Scrapping Outback's November White with a Twist challenge. This month we are twisting white with the cocktail inspiration creamy chocolate and strawberry pink - Mmmmm yummy!

Here is my take on it

Daddy's Girl - I will always look up to you Daddy, no matter how tall I grow

Once again I have played with the Basic Grey Bittersweet patterned papers and combined them with lots of butterflies and flowers. 'Daddy's Girl' is a Scrap FX chippie title which is available in the Scrapping Outback Store along with the BG Bittersweet papers.

Glue Arts Would Like to Boo YOU!!!!

Have you ever been BOOed?

Would you like to be BOOed?

If you're not familiar with this...it a fun Halloween tradition. It involves...a Ghost, like you see here, that is given, along with a note or poem...and the best part a treat. Then you take those...place them at a neighbor's or friends door, ring the bell and run.{or skip or walk...lol} The recipient then posts the Ghost on their window so others know they've been BOOed and now it's their turn to do the same for someone else. It's simple and fun. And also great to do something special for others.

So...how can you get BOOed you ask? Well as much as we'd like to leave candy and Glue Arts treats at your door, chances are many of us are a bit far apart. So we'll BOO you through your personal blogs and Facebook pages.

Here's how to join us:

We'd like to ask for those that have a blog, to add the Glue Arts Ghost above to your blog.  Then pop back here and post a comment leaving a link to your blog. You have until Saturday, October 30th at Midnight PST.

Then on Halloween, we'll visit those links to your blog...and several lucky people will receive a BOO from the Glue Girl! And what will the treat be you ask? We'll it's sweet but guaranteed not to hurt your teeth or your waistline!Lol We're going to award to several lucky bloggers their own Glue Glider Pro, a refill of their choice and some of our Extreme Adhesive Squares!  Now isn't that a super sugar-free way to celebrate Halloween.

We realize some of our loyal fans and readers do not have a blog to participate here's two other ways you can join in. Post the Ghost above on your Facebook page and then link to us to your page on Facebook or leave us a comment with a favorite Halloween tradition or even your favorite candy..or a simple BOO will do!!

And before we send you off to post your ghost on your blog or Facebook page...here's two more ideas from our newest Designer Michelle Lanning and Linda Albrecht to help you scrapbook those upcoming Halloween memories!

A Cherry On Top Blog Award

Thank You to the gorgeous Sam for passing this one along. Now Sam would have to be one of the brightest, happiest everescent people that I have been fortunate to meet in my cyber travels - and this reflects in her creations which you should check out here. Both of us also seem to share a love of coffee and we both share an 'obsession ' with things that are of the paranormal kind. Yeah Sam you are definitely on my wavelength GF. Thanks so much for the love and for passing this one along.

O.K so the rules for this award are:

1. Thank the person that passed it to you - Thank You Sam **MWAH**

2. Copy the award to your blog.

3. Share three things about yourself that you enjoy doing.

4. Pass the award to 5 others.

Hmmm 3 things about Me that I enjoy doing.

Gosh in a past life 'BC' (that is 'Before Children') I really enjoyed sleeping LOL!! Though I wouldn't swap my now sleep deranged state of mind for anything - my children are my greatest love and joy. They fill my world with immense enjoyment and love nothing more than spending time with them, nuturing them and watching them grow into the amazing little people that they are turning into. They make me want to be a better person. I love my 'mummy' role and wouldn't swap or change it for anything in the world.

I'm a hands on person and I just love creating. There are many hobbies which I enjoy but paper crafting at the moment is the one that I really passionate about. My love affair has been blooming for over 6 years now. When I am not creating, I love to spend time with family and friends and reading is another one of my little passions especially of the paranormal varitey - **sigh** just not enough hours in a day sometimes LOL!!

And I have always been an outdoors kind of gal and love camping.....nothing beats sitting alongside the river bank, listening to the cicada's or a kookaburra or two with a glass of something cold watching the world drift by....

So thanks for reading about 'Me' (LOL!!) Hope I didn't bore you all too much

It's now these lovely people's turn
