C'est Magnifique - Celebrate Her Radiance

Hello Again,

I have another project to share created from the beautiful C'est Magnifique February Kit.
This one features some more of the gorgeous papers by Maja Designs and elements from the Feb Main Kit and both of the Flower and Embellishment Add On kits.

One of the 'She' quotes by Kodi Yamada worked well for this photo of Miss E.

SHE...

'Just has this way of brightening the day.
Celebrate her radiance'
I went for more of a 'Steampunk' look for this one - Cogs and sprockets were die cut from patterned paper.  I used Spellbinders Donna-Salazar Sprightly Sprokets.
A few blooms have been clustered together - Manor House Cream Romance and Gold Glitter Roses and Prima flowers feature.  I altered the Manor House Flowers with Amethyst Color Shine and a touch of Coffee Shop Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist. Amethyst was also used for altering the Thickers letters.  I also attached these to some acetate for ease of placement over the other elements.
The Prima Amore Heart was also altered with Chalkboard Fern along with the Prima Resist Canvas Swirls.

Kaiser Class Act - Grinners are Winners

Happy Monday Greetings to You!!

A little something on the brighter side to share with you today.  This one is with the Kaiser Class Act collection - a new release for this month and available in stores in now.  It's perfect for scrapping those kindy and school precious memories. The primary colours are fun, bright and gender neutral.

The Class Act collection is also quite versatile if you did not want to go with a school theme as I chose to do.

This happy moment of my two girls was captured recently whilst away at over the Christmas/ New Year period.  Their smiles, cheeky grins and giggles will always be a winner for me.

The background paper is 'Complete' - I used the reverse side:
And used a small hole punch to punch out note book imprints.

The background paper was also altered with a Twiddleybitz Chevron Stencil used with Tattered Angels Black Chalkboard, Candy Apple Red Glimmer Mist and Heidi Swapp Color Shine Mint Green and Mustard.  A little Gesso over the top and some stamping done with a Kaiser Numbers Texture clear stamp.
Strips cut from the Paper Pad were arranged over the top along with a few Collectables and some paper rolling elements.

Wishing you Hope, Peace, Joy...

Warm Greetings!

I have another beyond the page project to share with you all today.  This one combines the Kaiser Occasional BTP Christmas Tree Photo Display with the Merry and Bright Collection.

This is what the Photo Display looks like in it's natural state:

The outside edges were painted with Brown Umber and the inside covered with various papers from the Merry and Bright collection.  I did find that covering the back piece first was easier than trying to do it when it was assembled with the top insert piece attached over the top.
The outer edge of the tray was 'trimmed' with a little decoration. A thin strip of paper punched with a decorative edge was attached around the edge. Helmar 450 Gel Glue did a fine job of this. The bond is strong and dries clear.
A window box effect was created with some gate wooden flourishes attached on either side of the bottom opening.
Fussy cut elements from the Merry and Bright 'Vivacious'  paper were layered with a few Collectables.  Seriously I love these things, just can't say enough how versatile they are.  They are perfect on their own for adding a little accent or layering with other elements.
Larger and mini paper blooms were added around the photo.  Coral and Honey coordinate beautifully with this range.

C'est Magnifique February Kit and Add-Ons

Hi Everyone,

I have the absolute pleasure of Guest Designing for C'est Magnifique Kits next month. Thank You Leslie and co for the wonderful opportunity of working with your beautiful kits.

A little about C'est Magnifique Kits:

C'est Magnifique Kits is a scrapbooking kit club that focuses on using papers from other countries other than the USA. You will find papers from Denmark, Sweden, Poland, France and other countries. Don't be surprised if you come across some embellishments from far and away as well.
***
Here is a little peek of what is coming up in the February Kit.

Beautiful paper by the Ska-vi-ta-en-fika line from Maja Design. If you would like to order additional paper to go with your kit, or just the paper, it can be found in the store here
There are also 2 Add-On's that have been together to coordinate with the February kit.  The first one is the flower add-on, which has sold out quickly this month, but there are a few items available to purchase individually in the store.
A beautiful embellishment kit Add-On has also been put together, which has sold out quickly.  A few items from this Add-On are available to purchase individually in the store.
Now you must take a peek at the February Kit in action. C'est Magnifique Design Team Member Larrisa Albernaz, has a wonderful layout up on the blog here. More peeks will be going up over the next couple of weeks.

Go with ALL your heart...

Friday Greetings to You!

An abundance of pretty Manor House blooms to share with you today. This one features a few of the recently released MHC Spring Collection.  You will find these available in stores now.

Lots of my favourite things in this one:
Prima Tea-Thyme Papers and Journal Note Cards were combined with delicate paper doilies and beautiful MHC Watermelon Rue, Green Mia, White Springtime, Mocha Facinating and Petite Roses.
Petite Roses were sprayed with Key Lime Pie and Vintage Pink Glimmer Mists to coordinate. White Springtime blooms were lightly misted for just a hint of vintage pink.
Spy the Mocha Fascinating sitting there - it is feather soft and its little centre tendrils add a touch of whimsy delight.  I chose to cluster a few blooms with it to soften the mocha colour a little.

A house to cherish...

Hello!
I have a little house project to share with you today. This one was made up a little while ago but I am just getting around to sharing now.
The house shadow box I used, I will admit to it sitting in my cupboard for a while...oops.  Anyway it has been given a little interior design and decorating makeover with the Kaiser Periwinkle collection. Periwinkle was an October release, one of my favourites actually and is still available in stores.  I just adore the colours and the pretty nature elements and loved putting this one together.

This is the shadow box in its all natural state:

I did have a play around with the inserts to make the arrangement a little different.  Pattern papers were used to 'wallpaper' the inside walls and to add a homey feel.  Pattern Paper was also used to 'render' the outside exterior a lovely shade of blue.  A little fret design was added along the roof edge with some decorative punched strips of paper.

When I saw the Periwinkle collection, I knew that it would make up beautifully.  The toning is well suited for my family room decor.

A few Kaiser wooden flourishes were incorporated to dress up the shadow box.

Periwinkle Collectable elements were layered with ribbon roses and a few mini paper blooms.

Metal keys, fussy cut butterflies and some special moments photos turn this into a family treasure to cherish always.
Thanks so much for visiting my 'humble abode'

A little something with Merry & Bright...

It's been a little while but first let me shout out some belated Christmas and New Year greetings from us to yours.

Hope you all had yourselves a merry little Christmas and that 2013 is 'kind' to you all.

I have some projects to share created with the Kaiser Merry and Bright collection which I completed last year. This collection was released in November, so still relatively 'new'.

First up a layout which was based on one of November Saturday sketches.

The collection is also quite adaptable for non festive layouts.  Here I combined a few floral and bird elements for a somewhat girly page.  The colours are earthy and natural which makes them perfect for outdoor and natural photos.
Coral, Terracotta and Honey Paper Blooms coordinate beautifully with this collection.

The next layout combines lots of the Merry and Bright Collectables and a few fussy cut elements. Lots of foam tape in this one LOL.  It has been designed in the formation of a Christmas tree arrangement.
Lastly sending out a little Merry and Bright festive cheer with a card creation.

Well that's it folks... for now
Will be back very soon with much more to share.
