We've got style yes we do...

We've got style how about you?!

Sorry...those cheerleading days never really do leave you do they?!

And why should they! When our designers saw the products from Simple Stories new Year.o.graphy collection...they were definitely cheering!

Just take a look at what Designer Lesley Langdon and Linda Albrecht have for you today!!

FEB. Style Layout

Intro:

For this layout, it was so easy to put together with this Simple Stories Year-o-graphy collection kit, that was full of things to cut out, like the folders and letters. Not to mention the large variety of stickers and alphas! Of course, putting it all together with my Glue Glider Pro+ cartridge was EASY, smooth and I know those papers are staying put! Exactly where I placed them. I love the Glue Arts Micro Adhesive Squares for the tiny embellishments. A regular adhesive square would have been seen, but the Micro Adhesive Squares are tiny and can be hidden. Perfect for twine, cord, buttons, etc.

Paper Clips

Instructions:

1. Cut out feb. from Simple Stories Year-o-graphy" patterned paper. Ink edges and adhere to top of layout with your Glue Glider Pro Handle with Pro+ Cartridge (Perma Tac).

2. Mat photo onto red strip of patterned paper at the top, die cut middle with Spellbinders Edgeabilities, and adhere both pieces to the layout.

3. Cut out other pieces of patterned paper (like the folders) and adhere to layout.

4. Stamp calendar on right hand side, circle date.

5. Adhere letter stickers, hearts, and other embellishment stickers from the kit.

6. Add journaling and faux stitches here and there.

7. Adhere cord bow with a square of Glue Arts Micro Adhesive Squares.

8. Attach paper clips.

Simple Stories "Year-O-Graphy" Collection papers, 4x6 Colored Transparencies & Fundamental Cardstock Stickers
Maya Road Business Card Acrylic Stand and cardstock pages
Maya Road Trinket Pins, Gingham Blossoms & "How's the Weather" & "Motifs" Chipboard Shapes
Ranger Crackle Paint, Clear Rock Candy
Other:
Rhinestones, Clear & colored glitters, silver pipecleaner, brown distress inkpad, buttons, jingle bells, wool felt, muslin fabric, clear transparency sheet, acrylic paint, jute twine

Instructions:

1. Paint chipboard pages with acrylic paint, lightly sand edges to distress then apply brown ink
2. Apply patterned papers to select pages, machine sew stitching.
3. Cut desired felt for pages and fabric then add machine stitching.
4. Adhere fabric and felt pieces to chipboard pages with Perma Tac Adhesive.
5. Print quotes onto clear transparency sheet and then cut out and apply to the pages with Perma Tac Adhesive.
6. Add cardstock stickers then add additional layers of stickers using 3D Foam to pop them up from the pages.
7. Apply glitters and Crackle paints to desired embellishments.
8. Add buttons and rhinestones as desired.
9. Cover top side of the acrylic stand with patterned paper and distress edges.

Holidays for All Seasons with GlueArts and Simple Stories

We love today's project from Designers Tamara Tripodi and Jamie Warren.

It's always so amazing to see how Designers can be given the same key products and adhesives and create such different projects that we love!

Today's no different...we're back with Simple Stories NEW Year.o.graphy Collection! Not only is it perfect for layouts as Jaime shows...it's just right for this fun tags that would be so neat hanging on a year round tree!

Memories Of Silly Fun Layout

First, let me start by saying how much I love Year-o-graphy! It's such a fun line and you can do so much with it!! It's incredibly versatile and the colors are just gorgeous!

Supplies:

Glue Glider Pro and Perma Tac Adhesive

GlueArts U Cut It Foam

Vellum Instant Adhesive

Simple Stories Year.o.graphy Collection

I started out by layering my embellishments (patterned paper that I had fussy cut and the clear embellishments) with the U Cut It Foam Adhesive and Vellum Instant Adhesive.

I then added a few drops of mist and attached my photos with the Glue Glider Pro. I attached the Simple Stories stickers to the right upper corner of the layout with more U Cut It Foam to make the clouds pop off the page. After finishing my title work I added my journaling and viola!

Tag Sizes:

Star - 4"

Christmas tree tag - 4 x 2.75"

Kite tags - Cut from kit paper size 4 x 3"

Umbrella tag - 4.25 x 2.25"

Fall tag - 4.25 x 2.25"

I do not have step-by-step instuctions, but they are simple to make just from looking at them.

I used hot glue for any buttons and ribbon.

If some stickers do not fit, cut them up, like I did with my 'be happy' tag!

I wrinkled up the star for some texture, and used the 'Perma-Tac' to adhere.

Add eyelets to string your ribbon/cord through.

And no project of mine is ever complete without some U-Cut-It foam!

As for the pail, have fun with it and embellish! LOTS of goodies with the Year-O-Graphy collection!
