We say there is...how about something handmade that is drop dead amazing!!!!!
Today we have more inspiring projects combining Maya Road and GlueArts. Maya Road offers chipboard and canvas products and GlueArts lineup of adhesives are the perfect fit for making those projects you dream up in your head stick!
Designer Kristen Swain made an incredible "handmade" banner! Little bits and bobs of this and that all held together with GlueArts. Consider making this with a family name or a friend's first name!! What a special gift that would be for Mother's Day! Designer Lelsey Langdon has an beautiful canvas album that will make you swoon! And it's a beautiful way to celebrate your family...and we hate to repeat ourselves...but yet again another beautiful gift for the upcoming Mother's Day holiday!!
Designer Tip: I love to leave the ends after I've sewn, I think the extra threads add a homemade look to my designs, one that only looks even more shabby chic then clipping them.
Supplies:
Glue Arts- Extreme Adhesive Squares, Adhesive Squares
Maya Road- Canvas Banners, Chipboard banner, chipboard scalloped and small banners
Stamps and Chalkboard Spray Mist- Tattered Angels
Glitter- Joann's
Buttons- Doodlebug
Gems/sewing thread/twine/tulle- craft supply

assorted chipboard pieces
cardboard
scallop punch- eksuccess
vellum
ink- tim holtz, stazon, andirondack
chipboard letters- American Crafts

Instructions-
1. Spray chipboard banner pieces with Chocolate Chip Mint chalkboard mister. Let dry overnight.
2. Ink edges of canvas pieces with brown ink, then stamp butterflies with dark brown ink.
3. Sew doubled over pieces of tulle to backside of canvas pieces, ruffling with machine.
4. Squash down cardboard strips, peel off top layer, and punch strips, then use Extreme Adhesive Squares to attach to bottoms of teal tags, then stitch with machine.
5. Stamp butterflies with Staz-On onto vellum, let dry and cut out, then use Adhesive Squares to attach to tags.
6. Spray small banner pieces with Sand spray, then let dry, and stitch tops of with machine, then attach to tags with Extreme Adhesive Squares.
7. Use small strips of tulle and attach banner pieces together, then tie on small pieces of crinkled ribbon.
8. Attach various buttons, flowers, charms and chipboard pieces with Extreme Adhesive Squares to banners. Finish decorating with gems and twine.

Instructions:
1. Paint all chipboard with one base coat of acrylic paint (ie RED), then add little splashes of other colors (ie GREEN and BLUE).
2. Using the Glue Glider MAX, adhere patterned paper to some of the Maya Road chipboard album pieces.
3. Sew canvas heart onto the cover.
4. Bind album together with binder rings.
5. Gather photos together and place them in the album using Glue Arts Extreme Adhesive Squares on the canvas, and the Glue Glider MAX Perma Tac Adhesive on the chipboard. If you have die cut LABEL templates, cut photos into shapes.
6. String banner together, adhere chipboard pieces (banner) to the album with Glue Arts Extreme Adhesive Squares.
7. Embellish album with ribbon, titles, letters, pins, journaling, etc.
Wow....wow really doesn't do today's projects justice though. Let's see...supercalifragilisticexpialidocious though does!lol
It's amazing when you stop and think...these are a group of women...essentially given the same GlueArts adhesives, the same beautiful Maya Road products however the end result could NOT be more diverse!!! And we just love that!
