1. Start by covering your book with paper. The books measures 4x6 so I roughly cut 4 sheets of paper at 5 9/16 X 4 5/16, 2 for the front/back and 2 for the inside front/back. Apply using Extreme Tac in your Glue Glider to make sure you have a strong hold.
2. Set your book aside as we are going to decorate the front after the binding process. Gather your supplies for the inside of your book. I had random tags, stickers, photos and transparencies.
3. Starting with my manilla tags I trimmed down 2- 3x4 pieces of paper to line the front and back of the tag. Next I punched out a small border and layered my stickers and embellishments on each tag. I used U-Cut it foam to give my stickers depth on my tags.
4. I finished off each tag with bits of twine looped into the tag hole as well around the tag. On the backside I used a Mini extreme square under the twine to keep it secure.
5. I then moved on to my 3 already made tags by My Minds Eye. I layered each tag with pattern paper on the backside to give them a more solid feel as well as cover up the plain side.
6. Layer each tag with stickers and embellishments to coordinate with your previous made tags.
7. Next the photos! I simply picked out 6 random photos and lined each with pattern paper on the backside to keep them from curling in my book. This also adds extra space for journaling and or more embellishments. You could also layer two photos together front and back if you like.
8. Next I layered my pieces together in the order in which I wanted to bind them in my book. Make sure they are placed exactly where you want them in depth as well as placement top to bottom.
9. Next up, BINDING! This was actually the EASY part of the whole process. Plug in your Unibind machine (there is no on/off switch) Place your tags/photos etc into your book. Make sure you get them into your "groove" nice and tight. Place your book onto the machine. The red light will light up to let you know the machine is working. When the green light turns on your binding is done and cooling. I left mine to sit for 15 minutes before I moved onto the last part which was decorating the cover.
10. Final step! Again I used twine to wrap around my frame then attached it to the front of my cover using Raise N's. I wanted depth but not too much. Then added my remaining embellishments using Extreme Squares and U-Cut Foam.

Glue Arts Ribbon Adhesive
Unibind Photo Book & Machine
Paper from Pink Paislee
Ribbon
Alpha Stickers from Making Memories
Digital papers and journal tags from Designer Digitals
I made this album for my 9 year old son to take with him on his traveling baseball games to record his memories. I thought it would be a fun way to keep him doing some creative writing this summer!
Step 1 - Print out a bunch of cool digital papers to use as a journal in your album and using the Unibind Machine bind the papers to the inside of your album. I used about 25 8.5x11 sheets of papers printed double sided.
Step 2 - Trace and cut out a square the shape of the cut out on the cover.
Step 3 - Using the cut out shape as a template, use an exacto knife to cut out a rectangle in the middle of the frame you want to add to your cover.
Step 4 - Using Perma Tac adhere the frame to the front of your cover. note - I found the Perma Tac only applied to the paper and not the front of the album, but once it's on the paper it will stick to the cover perfectly.
Step 5 - Apply some paint to the inside edge of your paper frame to hide any mistakes when cutting with the exacto knife!
Step 6 - Apply two strips of ribbon adhesive to your cover and then adhere ribbon all the way around your album.
Step 7 - Add a title to your album.
Step 8 - Using Perma Tac adhere a 4x6 photo to the inside of the front cover. Cover the back of the photo with a 5x7 piece of paper with more Perma Tac.
Step 9 - Using Perma Tac adhere a library pocket to the inside of the back cover to hold some journaling blocks for easy addition to the album.
