Today's cards are made by Glue Girl Lindsay Wahl!
Lindsay's stamps are definitely designed with us gals in mind and Lindsay's cards are perfect way to say hi to those friends that ahem....like purses and shoes. {Hmmm...wonder if any of us might fall into those categories!lol}
Lindsay has provided two easy to follow tutorials so that you too can make these card to send or give to a special friend!
You've Got Purse-onality Card
Designer: Lindsay Wahl
• Adhesives: Glue Arts Glue Glider Pro Perma Tac, Glue Arts Ribbon Adhesive, Glue Arts 3-d combo pack
• Card: DCWV
• Cardstock: Bazzill
• Ink & Pencils: Stampin’ Up
• Patterned paper: Doodlebug Designs Inc.
• Ribbon: Target
• Stamp: InStyle stamps
1. Stamp image with black ink. Color with pencils. Trim with scissors.
2. Adhere patterned paper strips to card using Pro as desired. Don’t completely adhere either end piece until you wrap around the excess ribbon.
3. Adhere ribbon using ribbon adhesive. Wrap edges around patterned paper.
4. Trim UcutIt foam to desired size for the purse. Adhere to card.
5. Add title. I made the title on my laptop, printed it on white cardstock, cut and inked the edges. Finally, cut a Raise’n’ in half for each title block. I used a piece of the UcutIt foam for the word “purse.” Enjoy!
The Perfect Pair
Designer: Lindsay Wahl
• Adhesives: Glue Arts Glue Glider Pro Perma Tac, Ribbon Adhesive, 3-d combo pack, Mini Adhesive Squares
• Button, Card: Unknown
• Cardstock: Coredinations
• Die cut & embossing template: Sizzix
• Ink & Pencils: Stampin’ Up
• Ribbon: Target
• Stamp: InStyle Stamps
1. Stamp image with black ink. Color with pencils. Trim with scissors.
2. Die cut yellow and orange pieces. Ink edges of yellow die cut. Emboss flower and sand.
3. Place ribbon adhesive on ribbon. Adhere to yellow die cut.
4. Use Pro to adhere yellow die cut to card.
5. Assemble flower using Mini Adhesive Squares. Add button and adhere to the card.
6. Trim UcutIt foam to desired size for shoes. Adhere to card.
