A Little Thank You

Firstly I just want to say heartfelt thanks to all you for your special thoughts and lovely messages. They mean so much to me. To say the least it has been a very difficult time - BUT I will forever remember my Pa for his smile that lit up a room and those totally mischievous blue eyes that were always twinkling. He used to always say 'I'm busy' whenever he was asked what he had been up to - Pa, I am sure that you are getting real 'busy' with the eternal gardens now

With everything that has transpired of late I haven't been in the right mind set for creating. I've tried but nothing seems to be coming together. Everything still feels like such an effort for me, but I guess I will get there in the end.

I don't normally put such personal things out here, but I just wanted to let my special cyber friends know that things are not great here atm; and if you don't see me around my usual places; this is the reason why. My beloved Pa succumbed to complications arisen from a terrible fall he had on Tuesday, and well, he died peacefully at 11.15 PM Thursday night. I am sorry there is so much more to say, but just can’t atm, my heart is absolutely shattered

Follow Your Path

I had so much fun creating this one!!

The picture is of my youngest DD. I just love how children 'meander', they always find delight in the littlest things during their 'strolling adventures'

Adore You

I have been 'constructing' as DH refers to, this one over the last few days , I call it 'happy building'- and yes I am such a sloooowwwww scrapper LOL!! I was inspired by The Colour Room Palette #1 for this one. This is such a gorgeous site that I came across in the cyber travelling adventures. Boy of Boy, So glad I did - Such an amazing bunch of talented, inspiring people sharing their fantastic creations.

This is the colour palette and I have to say that I just LOVE these colours together; so yummy!!

This is my take on it

Embracing Me

I Thought it was time that I came out from behind the camera and scrap a layout of your's truly. I have used the gorgeous Pink and Purple BG Green at Heart papers from the Scapping Outback Challenge YOU kit. I got a bit distracted (LOL!!) and couldn't help but combine these with Red, Black and White from my stash. I have added some Heidi Swapp, Prima Flower, Imaganise rubons and some Chatterbox Artsy-licious buttons. The pink dahlia like flowers were also made from the paper flowers in the kit - I wanted a couple of extra's so also added some more from my stash
