Fantasy Tree House

If you happen to have attended Melbourne Paperific recently, you may have seen this on display at the TWIDDLEYBITZ booth.

As a child, I loved reading 'The Magic Faraway Tree'  by Enid Blyton and took some inspiration from this series in the creation of this piece.

A Twiddleybitz Hat Kit was incorporated for the 'trunk' with lots of other Twiddley elements incorporated to create the fantasy tree house and canopy.

I absolutely loved creating this and it was indeed an epic creative journey. I totally love how it all came together in the end.

 Fantasy Tree House

The following Twiddleybitz Products were used:

Prima Romantique papers were perfect for recreating my creative vision.
Manor House blooms also feature and added a beautiful foliage effect with the chipboard leaves and flourishes. Some of the flowers were lightly misted to coordinate.
You will also spy a bird cage which was adapted to sit on the front of the 'trunk'
To climb the tree to reach the magic land at the top, one requires some assistance.  In this case Twiddleybitz fences were adapted as ladders.
A little bit of woodland magic with some mushrooms scattered amongst the leaves and flowers.
Twiddleybitz chicken wire provided the perfect foundation for attaching a few of the elements.
I wonder which land we will visit today when we have reached the top??
