Altered Christmas Holly-day Ornament
Designer: Cheri Wenger

Supplies:
Glue Arts: Wall Art Decor Adhesive and Extreme Adhesive Squares
Making Memories: Mistletoe flocked cardstock; Velvet Holly Leaves, Clear Rhinestone Buckle and Lg. Red Oval Rhinestone
May Arts: Striped Ribbon
Michaels' Sheer Creations: 7/8" Red Organza Ribbon
Studio 18: Self Adhesive Rhinestones
Cosmo Cricket: Buck Naked Chipboard
Other: Plastic Scarf Hanger (plastic ring w/ hook); cutting mat and knife

Instructions:

1. Place cardstock on top of cutting mat with chipboard shape centered over top of one of the patterns. Hold in place with one hand as you cut around shape with the other.

2. Apply Wall Art Decor Adhesive to back of cardstock according to instructions on package. Apply 4 - 5 extreme adhesive squares on top of chipboard before applying cardstock to chipboard. This will give it extra adhesion to support weight of items mounted on top.
3. Cut 30-36" piece of red organza ribbon. Use finger to apply an adhesive square to back side of the plastic ring, just to the right of hanger. Press end of ribbon onto adhesive and start wrapping ribbon around the ring. Complete again and trim off excess. Secure with second adhesive square.

4. Using your finger to roll the adhesive squares, create 7 rolls to place around the back side of your wrapped plastic ring. Attach on top of cardstock with poinsettia in the center of ring.

5. Cut a 20 -24" piece of red organza ribbon and thread around the buckle, knotting the ribbon once, slightly above the ring, and again about 6" above. Trim ends on top with V-slits. Secure bottom knot by placing a small ball of an extreme adhesive square to top back side of clear buckle.
6. Cut (2) 7" pieces of striped ribbon and thread both pieces through the clear buckle. Make loops bending ribbon and securing on back side to create double bows. Attach holly leaves behind these using adhesive squares on tips, bending to the shapes.
7. Place 3 adhesive squares around the hook of buckle, bending adhesive towards front. Attach holly, bow, buckle and ribbon layer on top of the plastic hanger.Use an adhesive square to add red oval rhinestone to center of buckle for added bling.
