Now seriously....who would of thought of using our GlueArts Accent It All in Black Out to diecut a film strip?

I know I sure have not! But our incredibly talented Designer Miss Leslie Ashe did!

So many amazing details on this layout but the standout feature {besides the adorable baby?!} the cool film strips.

Who's That Girl

Other:
cardstock, patterned paper, letters, embellishments: American Crafts
die cut machine: Big Shot
die cut: Tim Holtz Filmstrip Frames

Simple Accent It All directions:

-trim big 12 x 12 sheet in 3 strips

-using die cut machine and die cut, simply cut 4 strips of filmstrips

-place 2 of the strips touching at the right side, branching out on the left side

-cut one strip in half and place part of it on the bottom right

-add the rest of the strip to the top left

-build your page and embellish around the strips.

Scare It Up With GlueArts Accent It All

Halloween is just around the corner!

And for our family that means a house full of Halloween decor inside and out!

Designer Andrea Budjack has created a spooky ornament that would look great on a black feather tree or hung perhaps from a chandelier! This is also a craft kids can join in on as well!

If you don't decorate for Halloween...then change it to Noel and make your own holiday ornaments to give as gifts and more!

Boo Ornament

GlueArts Designer: Andrea Budjack

Supplies: 

Supplies:
Glue Arts Accent-It All (black)
Glue Arts Ribbon Adhesive
Glue Arts Extreme Adhesive Squares
Glass Ornament - craft supply
Provo Craft Cricut Expression and "Storybook" cartridge
Really Reasonable Ribbon - ribbon and trims
Polymer Clay/Charms
Martha Stewart - glitter
Vintage Tag - craft supply
Papertrey Ink - button and stamp (sentiment)
Fabric - craft supply

Instructions:

1. Cut out "Boo!" using Glue Arts Accent-It All and place onto ornament.

2. Create charms from polymer clay and glitter following baking or use existing charms. Add string and insert into ornament, leaving the string long enough to attach to the top piece. 

3. Using Glue Arts Extreme Adhesive Square, stick each string to inside of top piece to secure. Trim excess string and put top piece in place.

4. Using Glue Arts Ribbon Adhesive, apply lace to top of ornament.

5. Stamp sentiment on tag. Add ribbon, tag, button and jute string to top of ornament.

Accent It All to Give Thanks!

Give Thanks Plate

GlueArts Designer: Grace Tolman

Supplies used:
Glue Arts Accent it All Vinyl in red, green, orange and cinnamon
Glue Arts Extreme Square adhesive
Maya Road flowers
Cricut Die Cut machine (Storybook Cartridge)
Plate- Pier 1 Imports

Instructions:
1. Clean your plate well.
2. With the Die Cut machine, cut out the images and letters you would like to put into your plate. My plate is about 8” and I cut my leaves at 2” and the letters at 1 ½”.
3. Place the cut out vinyl onto your plate as shown in the photo.
4. Adhere the flowers using Glue Arts Extreme Square adhesive.

Something a little spookilicious.....

Greetings!

A little spook-i-licious Prima TREAT share today......

.... And I did have lots of fun creating this

Now, for me there is nothing really cute about the real life bat and quite frankly they freak me out... but even I couldn't resist these

This variety is pretty cute Hey??

I have combined Prima TRICK OR TREATS 'Night Flight' and 'Bat Vine' with AGLOW 'Black Magic' and a gorgeous CARLOTTA 'Royale' bloom.

A Paper Mache hat was first painted with black glitter paint with tulle then wrapped around it.

 Prima Black Magic leaves were layered around the base of the hat.   The metallic shades and sugar glitter make these leaves 'glow' with gorgeousness!

A few Prima Glitter Twisters were also added along with a 'Bat Vine'.

Ribbon Bows and a gorgeous Carlotta bloom finish the transformation.

Accent It for Your Next Party {or tree}!!

Time to start decorating for Halloween!

Here's a quick and easy craft that kids can help make too!

And we have the perfect, personalized gift for a special birthday or celebration!

With GlueArts Accent It All...you truly CAN Accent It All!

 Not So Spooky Ghost Windsocks

GlueArts Designer: Patti Milazzo

Supplies: 
Glue Arts:
Accent It All – White Out
Accent It All – Black Out

Other:
crimping tool; various circle and oval punches; scissors (Fiskars Americas)

Instructions:
1. Cut several 12” strips of various heights – 6”, 4” and 2” from White Out Accent It All. Run each piece through a crimping tool for texture.



2. Punch and cut shapes for eyes and mouths from Black Out Accent It All – be creative with the faces.



3. Lift 2” of paper backing from one side and cut off using scissors. Then create a tube shape and use the vinyl end with the exposed adhesive side to secure the tube shape.



4. Punch 2 holes on either side of the top of each ghost and tie 12” lengths of string or clear elastic. Hang from trees and enjoy!

Designer Note: I was searching for a unique gift for a friend and her hubby's 40th party. This was a fun and easy gift to make that no one else came with!

 1. Select glasses and chose a font that is readable and fits well on the glass. Apply the Accent It All carefully working from the middle letter out. I chose a his and hers monogram incorporating both of their initials and last name.

 2. I cut a second set of letters from the Accent It All and applied those to the gift bag. I then cut a large design out and used the design to decorate the back of the glass and bag for a fun matched set!

How fun are those projects? And best of all...they are completely doable! That's right!

You can sit right down and make them! And to help that happen..we're giving away a set of our GlueArts Accent It All vinyl!

Wow...it's the last week of September!
Where did the month go?

We're excited to share with all you the product partners we have planned for the month of October! We'll be working with Core-dinations, DCWV, Authentique and a very big favorite Webster's Pages! It's one completely filled month!!

This week we're shining the spotlight on one of our Designers favorite GlueArts products...

Accent It All!

 Jack O'lantern Treat Jars

Supplies:
Glue Arts Accent It All Vinyl in Blackout
Glue Arts Micro Extreme Adhesive Squares

Prickley Pear Rubber Stamps Pumpkin Die
Pink Paislee Patterned Paper
Webster's Pages Pom Pom Trim
Delta Paint
vintage buttons
green florists wire
burlap cord
recycled jars

This treat container idea is super quick and easy and is a great project to get your kids involved in with you.

1. To get started, simply wash and dry some recycled jars you may have around.
Pour orange paint inside the jar and replace the lid. Turn and twist your jar until the entire inside is coated with paint.

*Tip*-Lightly tapping the sides of your jar will help spread the paint easier than just turning alone. However, don't hit your jar too hard, or you will cause air bubbles to form in the paint.

2. Remove the lid and let excess paint drip out. Allow to air dry completely.

3. Cut jack O'lantern faces from Blackout Accent It All vinyl. Peel and stick the vinyl to the outside of the pumpkin jars. If you don't like where you placed it, simply peek it back up, re-position, and stick again.

Adorable You

Hello Again!

Today I have a layout to share created for Anna's Craft Cupboard with the new Kaiser 13th Hour Collection.  The colours of this would be quite well suited for Halloween projects and perhaps projects of the more masculine variety.

Now I will confess that these are so not my normal palette of colours that I would generally choose to work with.  But  I am always up for the fun creative challenge of working with something that you normally wouldn't.    

For my first project, I've managed to work the collection to suit some photo's of Miss N - the rusty brown jumper knitted by Nanny did help alot LOL!!

Layout - 'Adorable You'

The Kaiser 13th Hour 'Evening' paper has been used for the base with the 'Night' die cut layered on top.  I did also remove the middle insert first and attached this first and again elevated the outside frame diecut with foam tape.

Perhaps my favourite paper of the 13th Hour collection is 'Afternoon'.  By removing the insert, I was able to create a decorative frame element and the inserts were also used to layer around the photos.

The chipboard is a Twiddleybitz Nero Wrought Iron Border .  A 13th Hour Printed Chipboard Bird Element sits over the top.

A larger Butterfly was die cut from patterned paper from the Paper Pad and a Prima Butterfly sits over top.  

Some more girly prettiness was added with an assortment of Prima Blooms including Lilliput, Love Letter,  Sugar Bloom and new Sherwood Roses.  Leaf branches were punched from patterned paper and added.
