We're "Pinning" At GlueArts

Raise your hand if you're familiar with Pinterest?

Do you love "pinning" images?

Find yourself sitting for hours on end (yes hours!lol) pinning and looking at beautiful images that inspire you?

Not familiar with Pinterest? Well let us introduce you!

Pinterest is a magical type of place...(well it is!) that provides you with eye candy to fill the biggest sweet tooth. Whether you're looking for home decor ideas, tropical getaways, recipes, hairstyles...there is an abundance of  images that have been "pinned" from all over the Internet! Pinterest is best described as a virtual  pinboard that allows you to organize and share all things beautiful and interesting to YOU!

GlueArts pins projects from our talented team of designers. It's fun to see now others pinning scrapbook pages, cards and more as well!

All this week we challenged the GlueArts designers to select a photo from Pinterest to use as inspiration for a project. We're kicking off the week with two projects from Designers Jenny Chesnick and Jan Hennings!!

Vinyl Wall Art
GlueArts Designer: Jenny Chesnick

First let's start with my Pinterest Inspiration. This poster is awesome! I love the crown with the tools on the top and the slightly different take on the Keep Calm & Carry On posters. I just moved into my new craft room and knew this would be something fun to hang on the wall.

Supplies Used:
Large white frame from your local craft store
Die cutting machine (I used my Silhouette SD)

I wanted to change up the saying a bit to make it my own so instead of "things" I put "stuff". I also chose to use an ampersand instead of the word "and" I felt the 3 non-font elements on the sign gave it a nice cohesive look. I love the way it turned out! Vinyl is so easy to use and inexpensive! This whole project was a total of around 10 dollars. Think of all the projects you could make for your own space.
