Extreme Micro Adhesive Squares

DCWV:
Midnight Spell Stack of pattern papers

Other: wooden craft frame, frame hangers, Scor Pal (to create rosettes), black hemp, buttons, clear gem, letter stickers

Instructions:
1. Paint a wooden craft frame black. Once dry, sand and distress. Cover center space with pattern paper. Attach a frame hanger to the back and set aside.
2. Create 8 or more accordion folded rosettes from 12” long paper strips of varied width (¾” to 2 ½” wide).

Tip: I used the Scor-Pal to score the strips. For the wider paper strips, I cut and scored 2 lengths to create a fuller rosette. The narrower widths only needed 1 strip.

3. Secure the ends of the paper strips to each other using Extreme Micro Adhesive Squares.
4. Then adhere punched circles to the front and back of each rosette to secure their shape and keep them flat.
5. Use the Extreme Adhesive Squares to layer some of the rosettes together.
6. Cut out accents from pattern paper (tags, punched circles, words, etc.) to embellish the rosette centers. Use the Extreme Adhesive Squares and the U-Cut-It Adhesive Foam to secure these pieces to the rosette centers.

7. Temporarily position rosettes around the black painted frame leaving some of the frame exposed – as I did at the top right.
8. For rosettes that will be at the top of the frame, use the Extreme Adhesive Squares to secure them in place. I applied the squares directly to the frame and then pressed the rosettes on top.

9. Use U-Cut-It Adhesive Foam to overlap rosettes next to each other. I applied the U-Cut-It Adhesive Foam directly to the frame for this as well.

10. For the bottom of the frame, cut 3 strips of pattern paper of varied widths and lengths. Mine were between 2” – 4” wide and 4” – 7” long. Cut out a wedge from the bottom of each strip to create a ribbon. Adhere the paper ribbons to the bottom of the frame using the Extreme Adhesive Squares. Layer the wider/longer ribbons in back and the more narrow/shorter in front as shown.

11. As in Step 8, attach the rosettes. This time apply the Extreme Adhesive Squares onto the top edges of the paper ribbons at the bottom of the frame.
12. Create a mini banner using punched ovals and alpha stickers. Pop up the alpha stickers with U-Cut-It Foam Adhesive and secure these to hemp using the Micro Extreme Squares. Secure one end of the hemp under one of the rosettes at the top left and the other end to the top left corner.

13. Add any additional accents – hemp bows, buttons, and gems with Extreme Squares to complete.
