DCWV & GlueArts Halloween ShadowBox

We're back with another amazing Halloween project using the NEW Die Cuts With a View Midnight Spell Collection and our GlueArts Adhesives!

Designer Grace Tolman has a shadowbox wall hanging filled with bits and bobs that come to life with our U Cut It Foam. GlueArts foam gives just the right lift and height to your embellishments and ghoulish creations! We offer our U Cut It Foam in our 3D Combo Pac as well as in a individual package with two 4 inch  by 4 inch sheets and our 8 1/2 by 11 sheet! Perfect for die cut machines!

Halloween Shadow Box

I love scouring the dollar store for fun finds that I can alter or make my own; such was the case with this shadow box. The Die Cuts with a View Midnight Spell line was the perfect papers to cover the box and make it suit this month’s celebration.

Supplies Used:
Glue Arts Perma Tac
Glue Arts U Cut it Foam
Glue Arts Mini Square Adhesive
Pattern papers- Midnight Spell, Die Cuts with a View
Crepe paper flower- Pebbles
Glitter glue- (purple) Stickles, Ranger Industries; (black) Studio G, Hampton Arts
Corner rounder- Marvy Uchida
ZigZag Scissor- Provo Craft

I love how the Glue Arts U cut it foam adhesive helped me bring dimension to each of the square panels of this shadow box. I added two layers to some while three to five layers on the others. This way they’re not all the same height, giving my project some movement and dimension.

The paper collection was full of fun little accents on the papers so I decided to cut them out and make them the stars of the show here. I even added glitter glue to some of them for that added texture and shine.
