There's A Chill in the Air...

With the Twinery!

This week at Glue Arts we're shining the spotlight on a sweet company called, The Twinery!

The Twinery offers 8 eco-friendly colors of cotton bakers twine. Perfect for that finishing touch on a sweet package, sweet treats or a sweet card.

Our Glue Arts Glue Girls once again have taken a product and wowed us with their creativity on how they used the colored twine on their projects this week!

Danielle stitched a beautiful snowflake, Jessica decorated craft bottles and Michelle made tags with a Twinery tie as the finish!! {think Christmas gift tags!}

Brrr Card
Designer: Danielle Flanders
Designer Tip: I decided to use the beautiful twine on a card and stitch with it into a snowflake shape! I love stitching, so this was really fun. The colors of twine from the Twinery are amazing! I can see so many possibilities. You can stitch with twine on a layout, bag, clothing, just about anything!

Supplies:

Glue Arts adhesive: U Cut It 3D Foam Blanks, Glue Glider Pro, Perma Tac Refill
Twine: The Twinery - Caribbean and Lemondrop
Pom pom ribbon: May Arts
Paper: Little Yellow Bicycle, Creative Imaginations
Pearl: Melissa Frances
Sticker letters: Pink Paislee
Rub on saying: Melissa Frances
White cardstock
Graphite Glimmer Mist: Tattered Angels
Stencil: Crafter's Workshop - 12x12 template, Kasbah

Step 1:
First, I made a background with white cardstock and sprayed Graphite Glimmer Mist over a Crafter's Workshop Stencil. Let dry and gather a needle and your twine.
Step 2:
Stitch a T with the twine and an embroidery needle.
Step 3:
Stitch an X over the T. Cut ends of twine on the back and tape the ends down to the back of the white cardstock.
Step 4:
Now you will stitch a small v on each end of the snowflake. Tape end down to the back when you are finished. Add a pearl in the center of the snowflake.
Step 5:
Add BRR.. with sticker letters. Adhere rub on over the top of the sticker letters. Add a piece of paper on the side, another piece of coordinating twine and some May Arts pom pom ribbon. Pop up the whole front of the card onto a card base with Glue Arts' U Cut It 3D Adhesive Foam Blanks.
