That's right!
You CAN Accent It All when you work with our amazing Accent It All Vinyl {previously called Car Accents}.
Not only does our vinyl cling and cut like butter, it helps you to create unique, personalized gifts that will make you the belle of the ball!!
Supplies:
Glue Arts Car Art
Die Cuts--Cricut (Lyrical Letters cartridge), Sizzix (fish, fishbowl)
Pail--Stampendous
Punch--EK Success
Ribbon--American Crafts
Tweezers
Designer Tip: I created this bucket for my daughter to use as a teacher's gift for Valentine's day. The Car Art works so well on this surface (much easier than trying to get paper to bend around the pail!). I cut the letters using the Cricut. I used the "fit to width" feature to fit each line of text to 3". I die cut the rest of the images with the Sizzix. Because the letters are so tiny, I used tweezers to adhere. Start with the middle letter in each word so that the title is centered. I punched small hearts to create a fin on each fish. Add ribbons to handle and enjoy!
Is your family a Goldfish family?? We told Lindsay this would be the perfect gift for those that love Goldfish. Fill it up with their favorite flavor and what a swimmingly fun Valentine gift!!! Or what about gummi fish too??! YUM!
Designer Linda Albrecht is truly a gifted designer...today's project echoes how talented and creative she is. Linda created flowers using our Accent It All vinyl and paper. Yes..let's say that again....vinyl and paper = gorgeous flowers...don't you agree?!!
Designer Tip: It was so much fun making the pretty flowers, faux lace trim and doilies using Glue Arts Vinyl sheets. I love how easy it was to apply the die cut vinyl pieces to my project and to the papers because it is self adhesive. The flowers with the vinyl are my favorite. Mixing the cool modern feel of the vinyl with shabby papers adds a great effect to my Valentine projects. The vinyl distressed up nicely too with a little light brown ink and I even added glitter to the flower on the bottle. Cool!
Supplies:
Glue Arts- Glue Glider Pro and Perma Tac Adhesive, Mini Hot Glue gun, Ribbon Adhesive and Pink, Red, and White Vinyl sheets
Labels- Shabby Chic Crafts and Pink Paislee
Die Cutting machine- Sizzex Big Shot and 3D Flower Die
Die Cutting Machine- AccuCut and Scalloped shapes
Ribbons- May Arts
Small bottle (mine is an old vintage one, but you can find new ones with corks at Michael's Craft stores.)
Silver Pipecleaner
Miscellaneous beads for flower centers
Mica Flakes for bottle
Wax for sealing cork
Patterned papers used- Pink Paislee and Jenni Bowlin
1. Apply patterned paper to the backside of vinyl then use a die cutting machine to cut out flowers.
2. Cut vinyl ribbon and doilie shapes with a die cutting machine.
3. For the Treat Pockets, cut pocket or envelope shape from patterned papers.
4. Apply Perma Tac Adhesive with Glue Glider Pro to the pocket seams to hold the folded pocket envelope in place.
5. Layer more vinyl and patterned paper accents together, machine sew a running stitch around paper edges if desired and adhere the vinyl flower to the piece.
6. Adhere ribbon around the center of the pocket using Glue Arts Ribbon Adhesive then overlap the ribbon on the back of the envelope and add a pretty brad to the end. For the pocket with the red vinyl flowers, tie a bow in the ribbon that wraps around the pocket on the backside.
7. Peel off the backing from the vinyl paper doilie piece then stick it to the center of the pocket.
8. To make the message in a bottle piece, cut a 1 1/2" x 10" piece from patterned paper, apply Perma Tac Adhesive to the bottle where you will begin wrapping the paper around it.
9. Apply more adhesive to the end of the paper then remove backing from the vinyl lace trim pieces and apply them to the edge of the paper wrapped on the bottle.
10. Add ribbons around the jar and small clothespin using the Glue Arts mini glue gun.
11. Use hot glue to adhere a vinyl flower to the ribbon, add a bead to the center of the flower then clip a Shabby Chic Crafts tag to the clothespin.
12. Put a small amount of Mica Flakes into the bottle, wrap your "message with colored string then drop it into the bottle and seal the cork shut with clear wax.
13. I had a last minute thought to add a handle to one of the pockets using a pipecleaner. A ribbon would work as well.
