This is my take on Melissa Kennedy's sketch as featured by the layout 'Friendship is love without wings' on page 19 of the Kaisercraft December Workshop Magazine.
'Daddy I Love You'
Materials Used: Love Notes Collection: Patterned Papers Dedicate (P603), Love Song (P605), Dreamy (P607), Together (P608), Affection (P609), Secret – Specialty Foil (PS131), Die Cuts (DC332), Printed Chipboard (CB120), Journal Tags (JT612); Rub Ons – ‘Forever’; Rhinestone Classic Flourish – Antique Rose (RS461); Chipboard Alpha # 1 (CB107); Black Ink, Mini Alpha Stickers; Grosgrain Ribbon. Kaisercraft Love Notes Collection features and I have put my own creative spin on the original sketch design by straightening and reducing the size of some of the design elements. This was partly to do with the size of the patterned papers I was working with as they were ‘leftovers’ from previous projects. Nothing like using up your scraps as they say.
Some of the layered strips from the original design have either been ’flipped’ or moved around to accommodate the word ‘love’ from the Affection patterned paper. Sentiments are from the Kaisercraft 'Forever' Rubons.
