Season of Love & CHA Prep

That's right...we're getting ready! Packing the crate, prepping the make & takes and completing all the necessary steps to ensure a great show at CHA.

If you're unfamiliar with CHA...it is the Craft and Hobby Association Winter Conference and Trade Show. This year the show is held in Los Angeles, California from January 28th through February 1st and the Los Angeles Convention Center.

CHA is where all the craft product manufacturers come to share their newest products and creations with retailers and distributors. Sewing, paper crafts, kids crafts, painting and yes Glue Arts Adhesives!!!

Today we're showcasing some creative ideas for using The Girls' Paperie products for decorating your home and your scrapbooks too!

LOVE Blocks

Supplies:
Adhesive
Glue Arts Glue Glider Max Perma Tac
Glue Arts Glue Gun & Glue
2x2 blocks from your local craft store
Patterned Paper by The Girls Paperie
Alphas by Making Memories
Glitter by Martha Stewart

Designer Tip: I have had these blocks for quite a while and finally found a great use for them. Tis' the season for love and some love blocks to display in my home:)

I Cut the Girls Paperie paper into slightly smaller that 2x2 so that the wood could be exposed.

To adhere, don't think you need Modge Podge, Glue Arts Perma Tac is ALL you will need and there will be no mess! And dry time - none! Here is what my block looked like after I ran my glider over it twice.

If any of the edges go over simply fold them in and your done! Super easy.

I then wanted to add some glitter to the alpha letters. So I carefully ran my glider over the letters and trimmed the excess and then sprinkled the glitter on. I have to tell you, this was the first time I tried this, and I love it! So easy!

Then to make sure that the little crepe paper flowers held on tight, I used Glue Arts Hot Glue.
