Please Welcome Tsukineko to the GlueArts blog!

For the first time GlueArts is excited to bring to you projects this week using Tsukineko's amazing product line up. Their products along with our GlueArts adhesives form the perfect team!

For those of you unfamiliar with Tsukineko...here's some information about the company..

Since the 1950's, Tsukineko has taken pride in manufacturing unique ink products and craft accessories that make your imagination come alive! Their product collection has expanded a great deal since its inception, but their mission has always remained the same. Tsukineko is committed to innovation, quality and outstanding customer service as they strive to be on the cutting edge of the craft industry.

Tsukineko's dedication to provide the best products is driven by their customers' demands. This demand has enabled them to produce products such as StazOn, the first solvent based ink to be available in an inkpad, Kaleidacolor with its innovative sliding palette, VersaMark, the world's first monochromatic inkpad and Brilliance, an amazing water-based pigment ink with pearlescent colors that dries on vellum and coated surfaces. And our latest member of the Tsukineko family- Opalite, the first reflective interference inkpad.

They understand your desire to create art that is beautiful, meaningful and timeless. As the craft industry continues to change, you can rely on Tsukineko to manufacture the products you need to maximize your creative potential.

One of my favorite things about stamping is to create my own embellishments and in this card, I did just that with just one flower stamp. I utilized the one flower stamp best with some Tsukineko Versacolor ink pads. It was economical, easy and I love how with specific color ink pads, you can personalize any stamp and project to your heart’s desire. Plus let’s not forget how with Glue Arts dimensional adhesives (Raisen’s and U cut it Foam) you can create the layers and dimension that will make your project even better.

Miss You Dearly Card

Glue Arts U cut it foamGlue Arts Mini Square
Glue Arts Raisen’s
Cardstock- (black) Bazzill; (white) WorldWin

Ink- (Stazon Jet Black; Stazon White; Versacolor Sky blue; Versacolor Bark; Versacolor Raspberry; Versacolor Turquoise) Tsukineko

Button- Favorite Finding
Twine- Source Unknown

Techniques Used:
I created my own flower embellishment by stamping one flower stamp using different color inks then cutting the image out and adhering some of it with Raisen’s and U cut it foam adhesive.

I made my own scallop border on the black cardstock by stamping circle accents vertically on the card using Stazon white opaque ink pad. I then covered half of the circles with pattern paper to create the scallop edge.
I used the Jet Black Stazon ink pad to add a sentiment card. With all of the colorful accents, a sentiment stamped on black makes the words stand out better against all the colorful accents around it.
