Spring Home Decor with GlueArts!

It's just not Easter without Easter baskets...and yes...Easter eggs!

We have two ever so fun projects for you today whether you celebrate Easter...or spring..they're the perfect addition for a basket or bowl in your own! Perhaps on a mantel or entry table too!

Designers Jan Hennings and Kristen Swain will have you itching to get crafty today and make some of your own!

"Springtime Butterflies"

GlueArts Designer: Jan Hennings 

Supplies:

Star Pillow

Greenery, Butterflies (Graphic 45)

Glue Gun and Glue Sticks (Glue Arts) 

Instructions:

Start with a star shaped pillow. Look for these in your local stores such as HomeGoods, Gordman's or yes..make your own!! 

Cut out butterflies. 

Hot glue greenery and butterflies in place. 

Consider making several or smaller ones and tuck into a bowl for an entry table!!

Folksy Fabric Easter Eggs

GlueArts Designer: Kristen Swain

Supplies:

Glue Arts Fabric Bond, Hot Glue Gun and Glue Sticks
Sewing machine
fabric- craft store and basic grey
pinking scissors 

Instructions:

1. Use pinking scissors to cut out strips of fabric and sew using basting stitch, then pull stitch to ruffle fabric.


2. Trace egg pattern and stitch around egg. 

3.Use fabric bond to adhere ruffled pieces across egg. Cut at traced edge using pinking scissors. 

4. Iron into place 

5. Decorate eggs with Hot glue gun, fabric, flowers and buttons/twine.
