Remember This Layout
Designer: Danielle Flanders

Supplies used:
"You brighten my day" stamp: Big Hugs 4x6 by Hero Arts
Adhesive Squares: Permanent Instant Bond Mounting Squares by Glue Arts
Glue Glider Pro: Glue Arts
Perma Tac: Glue Arts
Vellum Adhesive: Glue Arts
Gray and white cardstock
Chipboard: (black heart) Cosmo Cricket Blackboard Flirt Album, (remember) Dusty Attic Mini Words, (small red hearts) American Crafts Dear Lizzy.
Journaling spot: Cosmo Cricket Delovely
Sticker letters: Am. Crafts Poolside Thickers
Twine: Studio Calico
Fabric strip: K& Co. Amy Butler Fabric Tag
ink: Ruby Red by Stampin Up!
Yellow paper: Cosmo Cricket Delovely
Pin: Oasis Floral Products
Embroidery Floss
2" circle punch, 1" circle punch, and heart punch

Designer Tip: On this layout, I used a page from a chipboard heart album to draw your eye in to the page. I wanted to spread color around the page, so I used punched paper circles, red chipboard hearts and a red stamped saying at the bottom to add color. I used the saying by Hero Arts "you brighten my day", stamped it onto vellum with red dye ink, cut it out and adhered the vellum strips to my page. I'm always a nervous stamper, so stamping onto vellum before attaching it to your page makes certain the image will come out right! If it doesn't, you can try again and can get it just how you want it!

Stamped Vellum Envelopes

S
upplies:
Vellum
Vellum Adhesive: Glue Arts
Stamps: Big Hugs 4x6 by Hero Arts
Ink: (red) Ruby Red by Stampin' Up!, (silver) Brilliance Starlight Black by Tsukineko
Felt and decorative buttons: craft supply
Pinking Sheers: Fiskars
Baker's Twine: Studio Calico
Resin photo corner: Melissa Frances

Instructions:
1. Cut an 8 1/2 x 11" piece of vellum in half. You will be able to make 2 pockets with one sheet of paper.
2. Fold the 2 long edges of one of the pieces in about 1/2" inch. Then fold the bottom end of the paper up about 2 3/4" from the bottom. Adhere the sides with vellum adhesive to create the pocket.
3. For the flap, fold the top down about 1 1/2" from the top of the paper. Round the corners on flap.
4. Stamp saying. Let dry.
5. Cut a heart with pinking shears and attach.
6. Tie twine around pocket to hold it closed. Add a vintage button and a resin photo corner.

Finished size: approx. 3 3/4" high x 4 1/2" wide.

Designer Tip: I wanted to create my own "glassine" envelopes, so I took a piece of 8 1/2" x 11" vellum and cut it in half to make 2 little pockets. A bundle of these would make a great gift! You could also change the sentiment out to create these for the Christmas holiday as well. Or just make one and tuck in a gift card for someone special. These are really easy and inexpensive to make.
