Shabby Chic goodness

Hello Glue Arts fans! We are getting toward the end of our Shabby Chic Crafts sponsorship week. Can you believe, Valentine's is only 11 days away? Time to get crafting to make your special someone's a beautifully handmade creation.

Today we are sharing projects from Designers Linda Albrecht and Kristen Swain. Linda's darling banner is dainty and oh so sweet. I would love to have one hanging on a mirror in my home!
Kristen's gift set is super sweet, with matching card and a gift box of lollipops, I'm a SUCKER for it's cuteness.

"Be Mine" Banner"
Designer- Linda Albrecht
Supplies:
Glue Arts Glue Glider Pro with High Tac adhesive
Glue Arts Mini Glue Gun and glue sticks
Shabby Chic Crafts- Labels
Patterned papers- Girl's Paperie, Cosmo Cricket, Pink Paislee
Silver pipecleaner
Ric rac trim
Stickles Glitter Glue- Platinum
Flowers- Maya Road, Prima
Paper lace doilie- Wilton

Instructions:
1. Cut 6 small triangles (mine measure 3 5/8" along the top and 3 3/4" along each side.) The last triangle on the banner is made from a "Shabby Chic Crafts" label.
2. Layer and adhere triangles onto desired solid colored cardstock using High Tac Adhesive.
3. Cut "trim" on each with a decorative edge scissors and either punch holes to resemble eyelet lace or use a sewing machine without thread to stitch a dotted line.

4. Adhere embellishments (ric rac trim, flowers, gems, etc.) to each banner piece. The letter "i" piece uses a "Shabby Chic Crafts" label.
 5. One of the embellishments was made with a white paper lace heart: Cut the top arches off of the paper heart then adhere to the top of 2 banner pieces.
6. Use a pearl embellishment and a small piece of silver pipecleaner to decorate the lace heart pieces by using the Glue Arts hot glue gun to adhere the pipecleaner around the pearl.

7. Use a large round "Shabby Chic Craft" label to make the piece which separates the "BE MINE" sentiment.
8. Another label ("I love you" ticket) is used with the round red label. Cut 2 hearts from patterned paper.
9. Trace the label shapes onto a patterned paper, apply High Tac Adhesive to the backside of each label, place string vertically between each piece and back with the hand cut paper pieces.

10. Use the hot glue gun to adhere string to the top backside of each piece to connect banner pieces together.
