I think it's fair to say a friend is a a valuable commodity! Whether you compare them to diamonds..truly great friends are hard to find.

Today Designer Lisa Day made a beautiful trio of friendship cards using the Basic Grey Sweet Threads collection.  Today is a great day to stop, make a card, or two or three...and then yes...mail one out. That's right! Put it in an envelope, place a stamp and send it to someone special! Just think of how they'll feel when they receive it!!

Glue Arts Supplies:
Glue Glider Pro with PermaTac
Mini Extreme Adhesive Squares

Basic Grey Supplies:
Sweet Threads Collection
Patterned Paper
Element Stickers
Buttons

Other Supplies:
Ribbon
Fiskars butterfly punch
Kraft Cardstock
Slice and Basic 1 Cartridge (for tag)
Cuttlebug and Script Embossing Folder (texture on tag)
Close To My Heart Stamps
Black Stazon Ink

1. Using PermaTac adhere two 1/2's of Basic Grey paper to your cardbase.

2. Add a border strip from the Basic Grey stickers over the seam of your papers.

3. Using PermaTac adhere a doily to the center of your card

4. Stick down a large flower from the Basic Grey collection to the center of the doily.

5. Cut out a tag using the Slice and emboss with a Cuttlebug.

6. Add a strip of ribbon through the center for the tag and using a mini Adhesive Square adhere the ribbon together to hold in place.

7. Using PermaTac adhere the tag over the flower on the card.

8. Add a stamped sentiment over the tag.

9. Add a mini adhesive square to the center of the butterfly and attach it to a small circle.

10. Using PermaTac adhere the circle and butterfly over the edge of the stamped sentiment.

11. Using a mini adhesive square attach a tiny button to the center of the butterfly.

12. Add the rest of the stamped sentiment to the bottom of the card.

13. Repeat these same steps to create multiple cards with various sentiments to have on hand to send to a friend to show them how much you value them!
